SHO Martyred While Foiling Bank Robbery in Peshawar

Peshawar — A Station House Officer (SHO) of the police was martyred while trying to foil a bank robbery in Peshawar, officials confirmed.

According to police sources, the incident occurred when armed robbers attempted to carry out a robbery at a bank in the city. The SHO rushed to the scene after receiving information about the crime.

Police Officer Confronts Robbers

Officials said the SHO confronted the suspects during the robbery attempt. During the exchange, the attackers opened fire.

As a result, the police officer suffered critical injuries. Authorities immediately moved him to a nearby hospital, where doctors later confirmed his martyrdom.

Following the incident, police launched a search operation across different parts of Peshawar to track down the suspects involved in the robbery attempt.
