Qatar Airways Expands Pakistan Flights Amid Demand

Karachi – March 27, 2026: Qatar Airways has announced an expansion of its flight operations to Pakistan, following improvements in regional air travel conditions.

The move comes amid rising passenger demand, particularly on inbound routes from the Middle East.

    Increased Flight Schedule

According to sources, Qatar Airways plans to operate dozens of additional flights over the next 15 days.

As a result, connectivity between Pakistan and international destinations is expected to improve.

    Passenger Trends متفاوت

Reports indicate that inbound flights to Pakistan are heavily booked.

However, outbound flights are currently operating with relatively fewer passengers.

    Recent Flight Disruptions

Over the past 28 days, more than 2,400 flights have been cancelled nationwide.

In addition, at least 11 flights were cancelled at Allama Iqbal International Airport, reflecting earlier operational challenges.

    PIA to Resume UK Flights

In a separate development, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is set to resume direct flights to London from March 29, 2026, after a six-year suspension.

The airline will operate four weekly non-stop flights from:

    • Islamabad
    • Lahore

Flights will land at Heathrow Airport Terminal 4, offering improved travel convenience.

    Boost to Travel Connectivity

The expansion by Qatar Airways and the return of PIA’s UK operations are expected to:

    • Ease travel demand
    • Improve international connectivity
    • Provide more options for passengers

Therefore, travelers may benefit from increased availability and flexibility.

    What’s Next?

Airlines are expected to continue adjusting schedules based on demand and regional conditions.

Meanwhile, passengers are advised to check flight availability and updates before planning travel.
