Six Terrorists Killed in CTD Operation in Lakki Marwat

Lakki Marwat – March 14, 2026: Security forces killed six suspected terrorists during an intelligence‑based operation carried out by the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in Lakki Marwat, officials confirmed on Saturday.

According to CTD officials, the operation was launched after receiving intelligence about the presence of militants in the area. Security personnel surrounded the suspected hideout and asked the suspects to surrender.

However, the suspects reportedly opened fire on the security team. A heavy exchange of gunfire followed, during which six terrorists were killed.

Weapons Recovered After Operation

Authorities said security forces recovered weapons and ammunition from the militants. Officials believe the group was involved in several terrorist activities in the region.

Security teams later conducted a search operation in the surrounding area to ensure no other militants were present.
