    Sindh Board Exams 2026 Schedule Confirmed

    Karachi – March 27, 2026: The government of Sindh has confirmed that Matric and Intermediate examinations will be held as scheduled, despite ongoing challenges.

    The announcement was made by Muhammad Ismail Rahoo, Sindh Minister for Universities and Boards, following a high-level review meeting.

    Exams to Begin from April

    According to officials, exams for classes 9 to 12 will start across Sindh from April 7, 2026.

    • In Karachi:
      • Matric (9 & 10): April 7
      • Intermediate (11 & 12): April 25
    • In Sukkur:
      • Matric: March 30
      • Intermediate: April 15

    More than 1.35 million students will appear in exams at over 1,600 centers.

    Strict Security and Monitoring Measures

    Authorities discussed key arrangements, including:

    • Security at exam centers
    • Availability of furniture and drinking water
    • Prevention of cheating

    In addition, Section 144 will be imposed, and mobile phones will be banned inside centers.

    New Watermarking System Introduced

    The government will introduce a modern watermarking system to prevent paper leaks.

    As a result, authorities will be able to trace any leaked papers and take strict action against those responsible.

    E-Marking System Expansion

    Officials will implement e-marking in several regions:

    • Full e-marking in Sukkur and Shaheed Benazirabad
    • Partial e-marking in Larkana
    • Selected papers in Karachi

    Therefore, the system aims to improve transparency and accuracy in paper checking.

    Complaint Cell and Oversight

    provincial complaint cell will be set up to monitor exam activities.

    Moreover, vigilance teams will ensure fair conduct at all centers.

    Government Warning

    Muhammad Ismail Rahoo warned that strict action will be taken against board officials in case of any paper leaks or mismanagement.

    Facilities and Load-Shedding Control

    Authorities have been instructed to:

    • Ensure water and seating arrangements
    • Prevent load-shedding during exam hours
