    Traffic Plan Announced for Youm‑e‑Quds Rally in Karachi

    Karachi — The Karachi Traffic Police has issued a traffic plan and alternate routes ahead of the annual Youm-e-Quds rally in the city.

    According to officials, the rally will start from Numaish Chowrangi after Friday prayers and will move toward Aman Tower.

    Authorities expect large public participation, therefore several major roads will remain closed to maintain security and manage traffic flow.

    Major Roads to Remain Closed

    Traffic police said the following roads will be closed in both directions during the rally:

    • Mai Kolachi Road
    • M.T. Khan Road
    • Boat Basin
    • Jinnah Bridge

    In addition, roads from PIDC House to Jinnah Bridge will remain blocked during the rally.

    Traffic coming from Boat Basin toward Mai Kolachi Road will be turned back. Meanwhile, vehicles from PIDC heading toward Jinnah Bridge will be diverted through Khajoor Chowk.

    Alternate Routes for Commuters

    Traffic police advised commuters to use the following alternative routes:

    Teen Hatti to Tower:
    Via GuruMandir Chowk, Soldier Bazaar, Bahadur Yar Jung Road, and Holy Family Hospital, or via Binori Signal toward PPP Chowrangi and Corridor‑3.

    Nazimabad to Tower:
    Via Lasbela, Nishtar Road, Ranchhor Line, and Civil Hospital Karachi.

    Fresco Chowk / Eidgah Chowk to Numaish:
    Via Tibet Chowk, then right to Regal Chowk and Empress Market, or left via Jubilee, Aga Khan Road, and Coast Guard toward Soldier Bazaar.

    Dawood Pota Road / Lucky Star to Numaish:
    Via Pardi Chowk, then right to Saddar Dawakhana and PPP Chowrangi, or left toward Regal Chowk.

    Garden (Zoo) to Zeb‑un‑Nisa Street:
    Via Aga Khan III Road, Coast Guard, Bahadur Yar Jung Road, and Soldier Bazaar before turning toward Saeed Manzil.
