The government has announced that the return rate on Naya Pakistan Certificates denominated in U.S. dollars has been raised to 1.50%.

The rate of return on a three-month investment in a Naya Pakistan Certificate has been raised from 1.50% to 7%.

Naya Pakistan Certificates now provide a return on investment of 7.20% after six months, a boost of 1.20% over the previous rate.

A one-year investment in a Naya Pakistan Certificate now yields a 7.50 percent return, while a three-year investment in a Naya Pakistan Certificate now yields an 8 percent return, an increase of 1.25 percentage points.

Naya Pakistan Certificate returns for the whole five years have been bumped up from 7% to 8%, as per a recent announcement.

However, the notification states that the return on Euro and British Pound assets has been reduced.

Euro on Naya Pakistan Certificate investors should expect a 4% return on their money after three months. In a similar manner, Naya Pakistan Certificates provide a return on investment of 4.50% for a period of six months.

An investment of GBP in a Naya Pakistan Certificate for a period of three months would earn a return of 5.50% per year, as per the attached notification. To the same effect, Naya Pakistan Certificates provide a 6% return on investment after six months.

In addition, the Naya Pakistan Certificate’s annual return dropped to 7% and the certificate’s three-year return fell to 7.50%.

Naya Pakistan Certificate holders would earn 7.50 percent annually after five years.

The government of Naya Pakistan has announced that the rate of return on Pak rupee Naya Pakistan bonds would remain unchanged.

Increasing the rate of return on Naya Pakistan Certificates, according to economic expert Mohammad Sohail, is a need in light of the recent rise in interest rates on the international financial markets.

Because of the recent rise in return rates throughout the world, this was a necessary step for attracting foreign investment into Pakistan.
