Nasir Khan Musazai, an MNA for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), requested that his resignation be rejected by the speaker of the National Assembly (NA).

Nasir Khan Musazai, another PTI MNA, wrote to NA Speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf to insist he had never resigned from his post in the National Assembly.

Musazai said in his letter that “a total of 123 resignations of NA members were written at PTI’s central office,” adding that he has not yet chosen whether or not to quit from his NA position.

After the Islamabad High Court (IHC) reinstated MNA Abdul Shakoor Shad as a legislator in response to his petition claiming he had not submitted his resignation to the National Assembly (NA) speaker in September 2017, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) terminated his basic party membership.
