It has been decided that Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Vice President of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), would now return to Pakistan on January 27 instead of the original date of January 22.
The Lahore airport is expecting her arrival at 4 o’clock.
According to previous reports, PML-N activists have begun preparations for Maryam Nawaz’s cordial welcome upon her return to the nation.
Capt. Safdar Awan has begun organising party members and making contact with other officials.
Earlier, Punjab governor Balighur Rehman issued a statement announcing that former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would return to Pakistan next month and that Maryam will also arrive shortly.
Maryam Nawaz, after receiving her passport back from the Lahore High Court in October of last year, departed for London.
