The military’s media affairs wing said on Wednesday that four security officers had been killed in the Panjgur area of Balochistan by terrorists striking over the Pakistan-Iran border.
Terrorists from across the Pakistan–Iran border attacked a group of security officers who were conducting routine patrols in Chukab Sector, Panjgur, Balochistan, according to the Inter–Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The military’s media arm responded by claiming that Iran had been urged to hunt down the terrorists.
Earlier, in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) near Hoshab and Tilsar in Balochistan, security forces eliminated four militants.
In an operation in Hoshab and Tilsar, terrorists reportedly opened fire, as reported by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The ISPR said that four terrorists were killed and a considerable amount of homemade explosives and explosive material was found during the subsequent fierce exchange of fire.
The ISPR said that the security forces entered the region through special helicopters, and that the mission’s goal was to destroy terrorists’ safe houses.
