Abdul Latif Afridi, the former president of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA), was murdered on Monday in Peshawar.
The authorities said the former president of the SCBA was murdered in the Peshawar High Court’s bar. Afridi was declared dead shortly after arriving to the hospital.
The suspect, believed to be a law school student, has been apprehended. There was an ID card from a law school in the pocket of the suspect.
Muhammad Noor Meskanzai, the former chief judge of the Balochistan High Court (BHC), was also shot dead in Kharan district earlier.
Former BHC CJ Muhammad Noor Meskanzai was shot many times by unknown assailants in the Kharan area of Balochistan. Meskanzai passed away from his wounds on route to the hospital.
