The entrance to the national assembly secretariat was closed off to TikTokers, YouTubers, and social media influencers.

According to the information provided, no social media influencers who are not permitted to be there will be admitted.

The prohibition was enacted when unapproved YouTubers and social media influencers misbehaved with lawmakers at Gate No.1 of Parliament House on December 23, 2022.

Reporters, journalists, and other media personnel must be affiliated with an accredited media organisation and present a valid registration card issued by the relevant media organisation in order to gain entrance to the National Assembly.

In order to get access to Parliament, social media influencers who are interested in covering its proceedings must first obtain a PID and a session card.
