In The Arshad Sharif Case, SJIT Has Requested Case Information From IGs

In order to investigate journalist Arshad Sharif’s murder, a Special Joint Investigation Team (SJIT) was established, and its members contacted the Inspectors General (IGs) in every province and in the capital city of Islamabad to obtain information about any and all cases involving the deceased journalist.

The Special JIT met for the eighteenth time to discuss the murder the anchorperson and journalist Arshad Sharif. Letters to the Inspectors General (IGs) of every province in Pakistan and to the capital city of Islamabad have been sent, requesting information about the cases filed against Sharif.

The SJIT also called in the plaintiffs and police who were investigating these incidents to give testimony.

Furthermore, SJIT is planning to call on Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan to testify.

During his remarks and press conference, sources stated, Imran Khan revealed new details concerning the assassination of Arshad Sharif.

Moreover, he will reportedly be questioned about what he knows about the murder of the veteran journalist.

It’s worth noting that the Supreme Court of Pakistan ordered the creation of the Special Joint Investigation Team (SJIT) to conduct a free and impartial investigation into Sharif’s murder, and that the SJIT has since updated the court on its findings.
