On Monday, a plea to have Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan removed from his position was  rejected by the Lahore High Court (LHC).

Following his disqualification in the Toshakhana case, the ECP began processes to remove Imran Khan as chairman of the PTI.

According to the report, the ECP’s actions in the Toshakhana matter were upheld, and the petition filed in LHC challenging them was dismissed as moot.

The PTI chairman has reportedly filed a plea with the ECP about this matter, and the issue is now being heard.

Earlier, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) attempted to remove Imran Khan as chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) due to his disqualification in the Toshakhana matter, but the Lahore High Court (LHC) stopped the move.
