A student was shot and murdered by a young man inside a coaching centre in the Gulshan-e-Iqbal neighbourhood of Karachi.
In Karachi’s Gulshan-e-Iqbal neighbourhood, a shooting occurred inside a coaching centre, critically injuring one pupil. The injured student passed away at Civil Hospital.
The victim, a student named Ehsan Akhtar, was shot and murdered by a young guy named Luqman, according to the police.
Luqman reportedly killed Ehsan Akhtar with an AK-47, a semi-automatic rifle, inside the training facility.
Tariq Mastoi, the East Division’s Senior Superintendent of Police, arrived. He informed the press that a few days before, two students had fought in the coaching centre, but that the situation had been resolved by the management.
He further said that both students attend the same academic coaching facility. The method by which the heavy weapon was delivered into the centre is being investigated, according to SSP Mastoi.
SSP Matoi has said that Luqman would be arrested shortly.
In addition to being the youngest of five brothers and sisters, Ehsan Akhtar also worked as a part-time tutor for schoolchildren. His father had a vegetable cart.
The boy’s uncle on his mother’s side informed reporters that the young man’s death was the result of a trivial argument. He said that nobody in his family knows with whom he fought.
When his nephew Akhtar was shot and killed, Akhtar’s uncle pleaded the police to quickly apprehend the suspect.
