Additional Buses For Karachi Residents Have Been Approved By Sindh

On Friday, the Sindh cabinet approved funding for the purchase of more buses for Karachi and other cities in Sindh as part of the Peoples Bus Service (PBS) initiative.

The decision was made at a cabinet meeting presided over by Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.

The Sindh Mass Transit Authority (STMA) requested funding to purchase 43 buses for usage in Karachi and other cities as part of the PBS project, and CM Murad Ali Shah gave his approval at the meeting.

Culture Minister of Sindh Sardar Ali Shah pushed for tourist buses to be operated at the conference. A summary was then sought by the Sindh CM, who instructed the relevant ministry to compile one.

In the meeting, it was revealed that the proposed buses will tour Keenjhar Lake and other tourist destinations.

For the record, the Sindh government runs the Peoples Bus Service (PBS) in the three major cities of Karachi, Hyderabad, and Sukkur.
