Shehbaz Sharif, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, presides over the NSC


Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is now presiding over a meeting of the National Security Committee (NSC).

Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, and military commanders are all present at the PM House meeting.

With the present security scenario in Pakistan, PM Shehbaz called a meeting of the NSC.

Lt. General Nadeem Anjum, the Director General of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), will inform the audience on the current terror scenario in Pakistan and the Pak-Afghan border.

According to a statement released by the PM Office’s Media Wing, Prime Minister Shehbaz was briefed by Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir during a visit to the PM House the previous day.
