For K-Electric (KE) customers, the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has authorised a reduction in the power tariff of Rs7.43 per unit as a result of fuel cost adjustment (FCA) for the month of November 2022.
After a public hearing on the Central Power Purchasing Agency-petition Guarantee’s for the monthly fuel adjustment (MFA), the commission voted to approve a decrease in the tariff.
According to Nepra, the decision will save electricity users a total of Rs10.61 billion.
