Babar Azam Breaks The Record For Most Runs Scored In A Calendar Year By A Pakistani In Any Form Of International Cricket

On Monday, Babar Azam, captain of the Pakistan cricket team, made history by becoming the first Pakistani to score the most international runs in a calendar year.

At National Bank Cricket Arena in Karachi, the brilliant batsman accomplished the feat on his 13th run of his innings during the first Test against New Zealand.

He beat Pakistan batting coach Mohammad Yousuf’s record of 2,435 runs in 2006.

Babar Azam has over 1,000 runs in the red ball format and another 735 in T20 and 679 in ODI play.
