Any potential applicants from the aforementioned locations were strongly discouraged from applying.

“Your visa application has been denied, and the application cost is non-refundable.”

While expressing his dismay at these rumours, Remeithi assured that Pakistani nationals are welcome to seek for tourist or business visas to the United Arab Emirates.

He said that individuals of Pakistan born or living in Islamabad or Lahore may get visas through the Karachi consulate in addition to the consulates in those cities.

Even the consulate general admitted that rumours like these sometimes circulate.
