Sunday, dozens of terrorists attacked a Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) office in the city of Bannu, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), in an attempt to get safe passage to Afghanistan by air.
More than 17 hours have passed, and the terrorists who were holed up in the CTD office in Bannu are still there, but the corpse of the police officer who was killed in the gunfight with the criminals has been moved to police lines.
Terrorists, the sources stated, are seeking a secure airlift to Afghanistan from the Pakistani government.
