On Monday, the Sindh High Court (SHC) denied the State’s appeal against the acquittal of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) members in the explosives recovery case at Nine Zero Karachi.
A two-judge bench led by Justice Mohammad Karim Khan Agha ruled on the state’s petition of MQM employees’ acquittal.
The Anti-terrorism court (ATC) acquitted 26 accused employees in an unlawful explosives case after a raid at MQM’s Nine Zero headquarters.
The court denied the appeal against Faisal, Obaid, and others’ acquittal in the same case.
The SHC also denied the Ranger’s petition to prolong the imprisonment of 13 MQM members.
