In an intelligence-driven operation, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) was able to eliminate four potential terrorists.
The CTD police claimed in a statement, “The CTD conducted operation on a report about terrorists crossing the Afghanistan border into Pakistan.”
According to the statement, “the terrorists, upon noticing the team of law enforcement authorities, opened fire.” Mohammad Dawood, a local leader for Da’ish, was one of four terrorists killed in retaliatory fire, according to CTD.
The CTD said that two of the terrorists killed in the encounter have been named as Abdullah and Mohammad Laiq, but the identity of the fourth individual slain in the gun fight remains unknown.
The statement also noted the recovery of “two hand grenades, two Kalashnikovs’, six magazines, and two handguns” from the bodies of the dead terrorists. In addition, we were able to retrieve a number of cartridges, NICs, Pakistani cash, and other items from them.
