On Wednesday, the body of a rare leopard was discovered in the Margalla hills of Islamabad.
According to estimates, the ten-year-old leopard whose body was discovered in a Sinyari valley behind the Navel Defence Complex was a member of the genus Panthera.
Word on the street is that unnamed males shot and killed the leopard, although this hasn’t been confirmed officially.
The wildlife personnel may be seen on camera moving the leopard’s body to the middle of the frame.
Officials stated, “We are waiting for the poison report to come from a local government veterinary facility in order to minimise speculation and before blaming anyone.”
