Imran Khan Has Announced That The Punjab And KP Assemblies Will Be Dissolved This Month

On Saturday, Imran Khan, former prime minister and current chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI), called for the dissolution of the provincial legislatures of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa this month.

Speaking at a gathering of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Parliamentary Party, former prime minister Imran Khan said that Chief Minister of Punjab Pervaiz Elahi had granted him authority to dissolve the assembly. He ordered ministers and members of parliament to start making plans immediately.

According to Imran Khan, Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari have hidden their wealth abroad. He said that the PDM has caused foreign nations and institutions to lose faith in the country.

His words were, “When they believe they cannot win the election, they will flee away. With this postponement, they want to shape the political climate in their favour and secure an electoral victory.”

The PTI leader claims the country’s leaders’ methods are to blame for the country’s current state of affairs.

We have resolved to dissolve the Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly if 66 percent of the seats become vacant, which would force the government to have general elections. A postponement of the election will be good for PTI, he said.

It’s clear that Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari aren’t interested in the nation, according to Imran Khan, and the people are sick of the ineffective leadership. He said that Ishaq Dar and Shahid Khaqan Abbasi left the country by ship.

In his remarks, the PTI chairman stated that political stability in the nation is necessary since no one has faith that Pakistan would be able to pay back its debts while its finance ministers are at odds with each other.

Imran Khan said that PDM leaders cannot mingle with the general public. He said PTI will always come out on top in elections. He explained that elections would be held in 66% of the country after the two Assemblies were dissolved.
