Ten militants were killed by security authorities during an IBO in the Hoshab region of Balochistan.
The military’s media wing claims that they carried out an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Hoshab region of Balochistan to eliminate a safe haven for terrorists responsible for shooting events that endangered civilians and security personnel.
After locating 12-14 militants, the ISPR reported that the terrorists opened fire on the security forces while they were constructing blocking positions.
During the heavy exchange of fire, ten terrorists were killed and one was taken into custody in critical condition. The military’s media wing also reported that “two terrorists were able to flee.”
Efforts were made to track down the terrorists who managed to get away, the report said. A large quantity of weapons and ammunition, including IEDs, were also found and collected by the security forces.
“Security forces remain resolute to foil attempts to sabotage peace, stability, and progress in Balochistan,” the ISPR said.
