However, the rise in the energy cost would not be applicable to lifeline users and the consumers of K-Electric, the power regulatory body stated.
According to the NEPRA chairman, a scarcity of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and an additional $300 million in costs resulted from the disobedience of the merit decision.
