PIA Has Been Ordered To Install Mobile Device Charging Ports On Airplanes

Khawaja Saad Rafique, Pakistan’s federal minister for aviation, has mandated that the country’s flagship airline, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), install power outlets for electronic devices.

The aviation ministry has also ordered the PIA branding and passenger amenities to be completed as soon as possible.

At a meeting presided over by Khawaja Saad Rafique, representatives from the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA), the Airports Security Force (ASF), and Pakistan International Airlines received the directives.

Airport Security Force (ASF) members have chosen to create a five-year development plan, and they have also discussed bringing cutting-edge traveller amenities and addressing security concerns.

Improvements at Ispahani Hangar Karachi were also decided upon. Installing power outlets for mobile devices was a directive from the aviation ministry on all PIA planes. The PIA planetariums in Karachi, Lahore, and Peshawar will also be updated.

The federal minister also promised to give top attention to resolving the problems that the pilots have been experiencing. All of the PIA staff will be informed by management of the new initiatives.
