Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has been granted conditional permission to organise a public protest in Faizabad by the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).
The DC of Islamabad has reportedly informed PTI that they have permission to hold the rally in Faizabad, provided they adhere to 56 conditions.
The notice said that any divergence from PTI during the public gathering will result in the revocation of the NOC/permission.
The notice states that PTI must leave Faizabad on the evening of November 26 after a public gathering due to the arrival of the England cricket team in Pakistan for a test series.
The PTI chairman has been instructed to stick to the route he and the government have already agreed upon and is prohibited from driving a sunroof car before to or after the public event.
Law enforcement has been instructed to take all necessary measures to protect the safety of the event, and the use of drone cameras has been prohibited.
As an added precaution, the public gathering’s organisers will be held liable for any injuries or fatalities, and authorization to hold the event in question will be revoked if the requirements put out by the organisers are disregarded.
If there is a violation, legal action will be taken against the public gathering’s organisers.
