    Ismail Tara, a renowned Pakistani comedian and performer, passed away at the age of 73 due to renal disease.

    There have been reports that the comedian has been receiving treatment at a private hospital in Karachi for the last several days. He leaves behind a wife and five children: four sons and a daughter.

    Sheeraz, Tara’s son, said that the funeral prayer for his father would be offered after Friday prayers. In addition, he said that the funeral prayer will be held in the mountain mosque along Shaheed Millat Road.

    Actor Ismail Tara, best known for his part in the classic Pakistani drama Fifty Fifiy, has appeared in a wide variety of plays, TV shows, and films produced in Pakistan.

    The governor of Sindh, Kamran Tessori, also mourned the loss of the comedian. The Governor of Sindh made a statement praising Tara’s contributions to the success of Fifty Fifty.

    Kamran Tessori remarked, “His services in comedy will always be remembere.”
